Bio
For 19 years until April 2013 I had the great fortune to work at Academy Studios as a fabricator and at times a team leader planning, building, and installing exhibits for many projects around the country and around the globe. Many of the photographs here are from my work during this time.
Some of the exhibit fabrication work shown is individual in nature but in large part it is the collaboration of many wonderful people coming together on various components of the projects, whether it be design, content, management or other fabricating team members. I can’t thank them enough..
Sprinkled in are freelance projects from recent years.
Specialization
Over the years of working as an exhibits fabricator, different skills have been in greater and lesser demand as trends come and go in the Natural History and Museum world.
I have built a varied skill set over time, in recent years doing more and more artifact mount making, from large (blue whale skeletons) to small and delicate (jewelry mounts).
